What is the Senior Scholars Program?
The Senior Scholars Program is a unique campus-wide program in which persons 50 years and older can audit regular-session undergraduate courses.

What are the advantages of becoming a Senior Scholar?

Choose from more than 125 courses from a new catalog of classes each quarter.
Learn from some of UCLA's most distinguished professors.
Enjoy an intergenerational experience in education with undergraduate students who are the brightest minds of our future.
Relax and learn is our policy. No need for time consuming papers and reports. No prerequisites required.
Have access to the best bookstore in town. UCLA library resources are also available.

How do I participate in the Senior Scholar Program?

Register over the phone, by fax, or by mail. Everything is arranged for you! The instructor will know who you are and save you a seat!

UCLA parking permits are available for purchase through our program.

We request a donation to the UCLA Center on Aging of $150 to audit one course or $250 to audit two courses per quarter. ($125 of each course fee is tax-deductible.)

Limited fee waivers are available, based on financial need.
