The UCLA Center on Aging presents:

Memory Training Techniques:
Never Forget Names and Faces Again

Featuring

Gary W. Small, M.D.
Parlow-Solomon Professor on Aging, Director of UCLA Center on Aging, and Author of "The Memory Bible"

Who hasn't forgotten a name or misplaced their glasses or walked into a room and forgotten why they entered? We all do. In fact, most of us expect and accept so-called "normal memory loss" as we get older. Many of us have had difficulties with memory training courses, books, and websites, which claim miraculous memory "power" from following their advice--we get distracted by the complicated mnemonic devices and never get a handle on the basic nuts and bolts of the program. This lecture explains a simple, basic memory training technique that will produce immediate results. The audience will learn this basic method and then move on to more advanced memory techniques for recalling names, faces, numerical sequences, and other information.
