Connie Stevens
Entertainment career spans over 30 years, during which time she made her mark as a film and TV star, recording artist, Broadway actress, and concert stage and club performer.

Dr. Hillel Laks
Dr. Laks is a professor of cardiothoracic surgery at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He founded the UCLA Heart-Lung Transplant program and the Pediatric Mechanical Assistant Device program.

Mimi Perloff
Mrs. Perloff will receive the UCLA Center on Aging's Lifetime Achievement Award, for her accomplishements on the UCLA campus, at the Center, and throughout the community.

ICON Co-Chairs:

Bruce Corbin
He was the 2007 ICON recipient. Mr. Corbin chairs the Los Angeles and Orange County Contributions Committee for the Union Bank Foundation.

Nancy Levitt
Mrs. Levitt has been a member of the UCLA Center on Aging Board of Directors since 2001, and is the current nominating committee chair.

Art Linkletter
He was the 2000 ICON recipient. Mr. Linkletter served as president of the Board of Directors from 1995 to 1999, and currently is chairman. He is a beloved TV and radio personality and winner of two Emmy awards and a Grammy.

The Center on Aging is presenting a new conference, the "UCLA Technology and Aging Conference: Successful Aging In A High-Tech World."
This is one of the first conferences of its kind. The meeting will feature national leaders on the topic, who will explore cutting-edge innovations that promise to help people live better longer.
